“In the course of staffing a Washington state joint legislative task
force subcommittee on my behalf, Ms. Laing effectively facilitated
several sessions involving a range of stakeholders from state
legislators to ex-offenders, advocates, agency executives and community
residents. She kept the group focused on the issues at hand and moved
the discussion forward. She simultaneously captured the group's ideas
and decisions in a written document that became a key source in the
development of Senate Bill 5070. Ms. Laing's abilities to conduct
research, present information, facilitate a productive dialogue amongst
stakeholders and synthesize diverse reactions into a coherent product
were crucial to our group achieving its results.
